Singapore where the national flower is an orchid was the inspiration for this year’s 17th annual orchid show at the New York Botanical Garden and it sure didn’t disappoint. I love to see the kaleidoscope of thousands of spectacular rare and iconic specimens of orchids on display but because of the crowds I was a bit limited in capturing most of the the great framed flower arches and towers paying homage to the iconic super trees. Anyway I did enjoy my walk through the exhibit and managed to capture enough of these amazing orchids to add to my collection and here are a few of them. Enjoy!
Orchid Show 2019-Singapore

These are beautiful. When we lived in the Philippines our landlord raised orchids. Always loved walking through his house of flowers.

Another good point for Singapore, to have an orchid as national flower. 🙂
